Global Youth Institute PROGRAMS

GYI programs offer concrete opportunities for youth (high school, college and graduate school) to engage in a serious discussion on contemporary issues in society, international relations, politics and the environment with peers, to engage with stakeholders in politics, research and business, and to formulate concrete proposals that can be published and formally submitted locally and internationally.

The rigorous program requires interns to think carefully about contemporary issues and formulate significant and convincing arguments that will advance the concerns youth and the greater ideals of a more just society, sustainable development and global peace. Interns will have the opportunity to work directly with major research institutes, companies and other national and international NGOs on the projects they are engaged in.

GYI gives unprecedented autonomy and authority to the interns themselves. We expect you do be engaged and committed to the issues of this age and act as leaders in an intellectual and ethical sense on a day-to-day basis.

GYI Program places a special emphasis on encouraging young women to play a leading role with regards to technology and policy in this age of unprecedented change. We encourage young women who have an interest in technology, science, the environment, energy and the policy debate to join our efforts.

We are based in Seoul Korea, but we encourage youth from around the world to join as interns for international projects.
